Every registered entity is legally obligated to submit and pay annual returns to the CIPC each year during the month corresponding to its anniversary of incorporation.
There is a one-month grace period following the anniversary month.
For instance, if your CC/Company was established in June 2009, June will be your anniversary month. The CC/Company’s annual return must be filed between June 1 and July 30 every year.
Failure to submit the return within this two-month timeframe will lead to penalty fees.
Furthermore, if you neglect to file an annual return for over three consecutive years, your entity will face deregistration.
